April 18, 2001 VIA FACSIMILE AND U.S. MAIL Dr. John C. Brown, Director
Dear Dr. Brown: I have been in communication with you and various other members of your staff over the last month, regarding the refusal of your organization to publish the research of my client, Robert Gentry, which research purports to refute the big bang theory. We were initially told that the matter would be resolved in two weeks. It has now been four weeks and I am told, as of yesterday, that it will be at least another two weeks. The decision is really quite simple, will Robert Gentry be given back his password and allowed to publish or not. We clearly feel that the refusal to publish this work is on the basis of religious discrimination. Consequently, we would urge you to make an immediate decision so that we can take the appropriate action. Yours very truly, JOT/dh
